To me, cornerstone is no specific place, person, or thing, that if instead is an overall concept, and also a combination of many different people, places and things. For instance, there have been s of all timeal houses in my life that I would call “home”, and there ar also many people that serve as a sanctuary to me. Right now my house would be my home, because it has my undivided family (mom, dad, brother, and sister), my dogs, and some of my valued possessions, such as my guitars and fencing gear, which are devil very important things in my life.
To break down the components that forge up my “home”, I will start score with the places I have lived and called home. The first place I lived was with my grandparents for a year, but even today, I would still refer to that as around like a second home to me. They are always willing to take me in if I deal them. After that I go into another place where I lived for about 10 years. This may have not been the nicest place, but is still special to me, considering that’s where I spent my whole childhood.
After that I moved into another house, but that was only for 2 or 3 years, and then finally moved into where I am now. I have lived here for almost 5 years now, and it has definitely become my home. It has everything I could ever call for and need in it. My room is like my sanctuary, where I can just go and relax after a stressful day, and I have my music studio in the basement, which also makes my house more special to me.
