T.V: A Crisis for Our Youth
Television is a powerful medium for appealing to mass audiences- it reaches passel regardless of age, sex, income, or educational level. In addition, television offers sight and sound, and it makes dramatic and lifelike representations of people and products. Focused TV coverage of advertisements has been largely limited to firm fare and other things to entice the younger audience into observation their show. However, too much T.V. for our younger generation is bad for their acquisition habits because it distracts children from homework for school.
Children should be focusing on their homework or school instead of wasting their day in app arent motion of the T.V. I remember being al well-nigh addicted to T.V. as a young boy and as punishment for non doing my homework I wouldnt be able to ticker T.V. I remember how I was so fascinated by all the light and pictures moving on the screen transmittable my attention every moment. Furthermore, homes should have Internet access within their homes to allow their kids too look up information round something they had just learned with limited access to sites. In addition, children are very impressionable and when they see something on T.V. they almost contain it as if its real what they are watching.
This connects with the ideas of Fast food for thought being bad since children see advertisements on T.V. for fast food restaurants and think that is a good meal option. In the extirpate they will beg until their parents take them their unless the parents know the difference amidst healthy and unhealthy food. T.V. acts as way for these children to have elicit adventures without having to leave their home, which is way more exciting than homework. Instead of larn through books, children are increasingly turning towards the screen for their education.
