My dad had a horrible disease, one that in those days was more overlooked than it is now. When he was sober he was the best dad, and man you could ask for but as time went on, those times became more scarce. When I was 13 years grey he turned on me. That was the final straw for my mom. They were part by the time I was 14 and I just saw him after that. I loved him but I had so much resentment towards him. At 15, I buried my father. He was 34 years old. Thats just 2 years away from my age now. Painful as that was, it was too a bitter sweet moment. See, I didnt have to worry about him anymore. I didnt have to shoot the breeze only to find him drunk.
