Personal and professional aspects of guidance are components of counseling that crowd out range from ethics and qualification ethical decisions, knowing boundary expectations, relationships, cultural differentials, and for Christian Counselors, the number one and foremost obligation to honor our Lord. All of these aspects are guidelines that can be both personal and professional for Counselors. ethics is non only a moral obligation, but it is a obligation and principle that they are held accountable for in their profession. That same location for ethical responsibility goes for making ethical decisions which involve set and professional conflict.
Boundaries set with knobs and within Counselors inner morals should gear up them non only grateful that have an influence on someone entire future but yet compelled by their professional standards to know what is in the best interest of their client. Boundaries are also set to keep the Counselor for not utilizing his delegacy for the good of his own satisfaction, but for his clients.
Relationships can play a crucial role in Counselors moral and amoral fiber depending on whether the relationship is dual or professionally acceptable.



Culture and cultural understanding should be a personal connection a Counselor has with a client. That Counselor should generate a touch sensation of respect to his client from the start of their introduction and treatment by allowing a client to see their sensitivity and perception of that client culture if they are of a different ethnicity.
Christian Counselors not only have the privilege and joy it takes to change the lives of disconnected sheeps through humanly fill in, but they have a biblical obligation to honor our Lord and show His love through us.
