My Memorable Writing Experience
Writing is i of the most radical forms of communicating ideas and information to one another. Writing doesnt pay off as easy to me as it use to. Ive endlessly enjoyed authorship, but it seems the older Ive become the harder it is. Maybe its just through life and the passage of time I have drifted farther and farther from my original side. My most unforgettable writing experience came in the fourth grade in Mrs. Hamiltons English class while attending Highland pose elementary. We were given a creative writing assignment, and our entries would be turned into a national contest. My most memorable writing experience is my fourth grade writing assignment because I was able to be creative, I won a contest, and my humbug was selected for publication in a book comprised of the winning go around stories.
In the fourth grade, like most children, I had untrammelled imagination. I still believed all things were possible, and Id expend my days daydreaming of adventures into space while flying among the planets and stars. Sometimes, I would be venturing deep into the wilderness with Davey Crockett and whatever other quarter of characters I had dreamed up on that particular day.
When the creative writing assignment came along, I knew I was the kid for the job. I must admit I was really surprised when my mulct story was selected for publication. There were 18,000 entries from schools all over the U.S. with 30 to be chosen for the book.
My creative side sometimes led me astray, and I have got into some mischief from time to time, but not this time. I was finally able to write the story I wanted to write without much direction or time outrictions displace upon me. It had been a couple of months since I had submitted my story along with the rest of my class, to tell the truth I had pretty much disregarded about it.
