Justin Hadden English 101.014 Professor Menger 23 February 2012 One of the most enkindle moments of my life happened when I was 16 years old and my pop let me drive my uncle Donalds 1976 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. It all started on a frozen February morning when I was shook start of bed by my moms coffee grinder. The coffee grinder had sent vibrations with the walls all the way to my room on the other boldness of the house. I hated that coffee grinder. But my mom perspective it was a good way to wake all the kids up and get us to the breakfast table, even if we did base up irritable. Needless to say, I wasnt very happy to be woken in the manner. I rolled by of bed and stumble out the door and into the kitchen to find my mom making coffee and complain about all the cleaning she needed to get through with(p) that day. I asked my mom where my pop musicdy had gone and she told me he went to my uncle Donalds garage to help him work on some of his cars, as he often did. At about that time we heard what sounded want thunder outside the house. I knew there wasnt supposed to be any storms that day but I went to the window to musical note at the clouds anyway. Thats when I saw it. A beautiful reddened red 1976 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray with two white racing strips down the spirit and it was pulling into my driveway!

I had only eer seen pictures of this car. And to my surprise, My dad hops out of the driver seat! I step on it to the door to meet him. When he came in the door he looked at me with the biggest smile I had ever seen my dad sham and said Justin, come outside I want to show you something! I threw on a pair of shoes and a thick winter jacket and ran out the door. Sitting in my driveway was a car I had only ever dream of seeing in person. Apparently while my dad was helping my uncle with some of his cars, he had asked him if he could take the Corvette out for a drive. My dad says Hope in. Lets go for a ride.
