The reason this book was my main pickax to memorise is because I have had a sick fixing with Marilyn Manson ever since I was in fourth grade. He is mavin of the people I have the most respect for and Im aware my opinion will unrivalled sidereal day change or fade, but until today, I love him and hes made me view life in a whole different perspective. His music has always been aspiring to the fullest for me. Also, one day, my close friend told me ab come out of the closet this book called, Dissecting Marilyn Manson that she found out about and she said it reminded her of me. I went and bought it shortly afterwards and was beaming I found out about it in the head start place.
The most surprising thing I learned objet dart reading Dissecting Marilyn Manson was the story behind his mismatched eyeball. Some asseverate its simply for a gothic appeal or to scare his audience, but its not. Both his childhood pets had eyes that were naturally different colors. He did that with eyes as a tribute to what meant so much to him when he was younger. It is likewise a symbol of darkness and the devil, which he has favored since he was just seventeen years old.
Gavin Baddeley explored every aspect and detail of Marilyn Mansons life in complete detail.
He focused on his childhood, personality, feelings on issues, why he makes the music he makes, and how he became who he is today. He didnt fully explore the field of whether Manson is a fascist or not, in detail and that is what I wouldve liked reading about. Also, many quotes are given and arent explored at all which makes it difficult to comprehend. Overall, its the most alluring and intense biography I have read so far.
In the near future, material I have read in this biography will for a fact be useful. Not only does it focus on Marilyn Manson, but also on the Church of Satan, cultural archetypes, internet, drugs, Walt Disney, KISS, and John Kennedy.
